Health and Safety

The Company is totally committed to a policy of prevention, reduction and elimination of all undesired events that could or do result in loss and committed to protect the interest of the Company, its employees and Clients at all times.

To achieve this aim, the Company has embarked on a Risk Management and Safety Programme which will encompass all sections and areas of our operations, and on a Crisis Management Programme.

It is vital that all employees commit them¬selves to the achievement of these objectives by ensuring that every task is done safely and in accordance with the project policy, procedures, standards and managerial instructions.
The C.A.T. Group is proud to have received many safety awards for various Projects from the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, ARAM¬CO and ADNOC.
Construction Safety Handbook

The Specific objectives of these programmes are:

1	To place paramount emphasis on the prevention of accidents to persons, damage to property and loss of process.
2	Prompt accident notification, investigation and reporting.
3	The establishment and maintenance of a safe, healthy and protective working environment.
4	Protection of property, equipment and material from all down grading incidents.
5	Provide and maintain a safe place of work and a safe system of work, safe equipment, tools and machinery.
6	Comply with all statutory duties for the protection and promotion of the health and safety of our employees and others who may be affected by C.A.T.’s activities.
7	Maintain the standards of occupational health and safety to prevent human suffering and loss.
8	Personal negligence towards safety and health reg¬ulations is strictly forbidden; any infringement of the regulations will result in disciplinary action being taken against the offender.
9	Health and safety are management responsibilities ranking equally with responsibilities for construction, quality, sales, costs and similar matters.
