Antoine Papadopoulo
CFO

The CFO of the C.A.T. Group, Antoine has a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. He works on the Group’s financial strategy to improve shareholder value and is responsible for the Group’s financial planning, investment appraisal, managing treasury and cash flow, financial risk management, budgeting and forecasting, and managing financial operations to optimize the Group’s performance. He has built a deep understanding of international accounting standards.  

Commencing his career with the Group in 2000, Antoine has filled many different financial positions including Group Internal Auditor. Antoine has a valuable understanding of how the Group operates in its several various challenging markets. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of C.A.T.’s Lebanese entities.

Prior to joining C.A.T., he occupied various consultancy roles dealing with financial markets. 

Antoine holds an MBA in Business Administration from Saint Joseph University in Lebanon, a Ph.D. (Doctorat d’État) in Business Administration focused in Strategy and Finance from the University of Paris I-Sorbonne in France. He also occupies the position of Professor of Finance at Saint Joseph University.  

Nazih Ghazi
COO

Nazih is the C.A.T. Group COO. He is responsible for ensuring the daily operational excellence of our Group and fostering a growth-oriented environment, in addition to providing strategic advisory and executive counsel.

Nazih brings over 35 years’ experience in management, construction, procurement and estimation of petro-chemical, industrial and large residential projects of varying magnitudes and nature. He is a long-serving member of C.A.T. Group, being with the company for over 20 years.

Before joining the Group, Nazih was employed as MEP Manager of Midmac Contracting as well as Asst MEP Manager of SGTM Maroc and SEMA France out of their Abu Dhabi operations.

Nazih holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University in the United States.

Joe Mansour Group Manager: Contracts

Joe is the Group’s Contracts Manager. He is responsible for overseeing the management of contracts and contractual matters throughout the Group’s areas of operations to protect the interests of the Group, including setting contract management procedures and processes, drafting, negotiating and concluding agreements with clients, partners, and vendors, leading on change and risk management, and endeavoring for amicable dispute resolution.

Joe holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and has benefited from numerous training courses with leading experts in the field. With over 35 years of experience, 18 of which were spent at C.A.T., Joe has accumulated extensive international experience in planning, cost control and contract management covering different categories of construction projects under different types of contracts. He has given several lectures and training seminars for professionals in different countries.

Bassam El Asmar Group Manager: Contracts Bassam partners with the Executive Management team to define the corporate vision, formulate relevant strategies, and drive their implementation throughout the Group. He leads the Group’s strategic planning process and identifies growth and profit opportunities. He conducts market analysis and performs research to identify new business opportunities, targeting strategic markets, clients, and projects. Bassam brings over 20 years of experience in the energy field where he has held various positions starting from Site Engineer to General Manager with local and multinational contracting companies such as CCC, Technip and others. He focuses on turning every situation into an opportunity through his unique perspective on matters. Bassam holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA from the American University of Beirut.

Assaad El Hage
Legal Advisor

Assaad is the Legal Advisor & Corporate Secretary of the C.A.T. Group, overseeing the establishment of sound governance practices and ensuring compliance across entities that operate in diverse countries, each subject to varying jurisdictions and laws. Assaad’s responsibilities encompass a wide array of legal matters, including contract management, regulatory compliance, board meetings, commercial registration, licensing, litigation, arbitration and more spanning across different operational areas. He manages relationships with external law firms ensuring seamless collaboration with local C.A.T. Group offices.

Assaad comes from a family with three generations of lawyers, and possesses a Law degree from the University of St. Joseph in Beirut, complemented by an MBA in Finance & Management from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (Paris- Beirut). He is a member of the Beirut Bar Association for nearly three decades.

Hadi Jallad
Group Manager: Proposals & Tenders

Hadi is heading the Proposals and Tenders department of the Group, where he is responsible for all the bids that are submitted to clients. He oversees cost estimation, technical submittals and client negotiations, with the aim of awarding new projects to the group and increasing its back log.

Hadi joined C.A.T. in 2016 and has more than 20 years of experience in the field of estimation in multinational corporations such as Bouygues and Vinci.

Hadi holds an Engineering degree from the Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics in France as well as an MBA from the Sorbonne University.

Najib Abou Chedid CIO Najib is our Group’s CIO. His responsibilities include the long-term direction of the ERP and IT functions in support of our business strategy and digital transformation. Additionally, he oversees the strategic design, acquisition, implementation and management of enterprise-wide IT, cybersecurity and ERP infrastructures.   Najib possesses more than 23 years of relevant technical experience in IT operations across multiple industries including healthcare, manufacturing, software development, telecommunications, finance, and distribution and logistics – bridging both public and private sectors.   Preceding his current appointment, Najib was Executive Director – IT at Libanpost, and before this occupied the roles of Director of IT at Sakr Holding and Group Director at ITsalat International.   Najib holds a BSc in Telecommunication and a MSc in Communication & Networking from Saint Joseph University in Lebanon.

Najib Abou Chedid
CIO

Antoine is the CFO of C.A.T. Group. He is responsible for our financial planning, tracking cash flow, financial risk management, and managing our financial operations to optimize the Group’s performance.
Commencing his career with the Group in 2000 as a Senior Financial Analyst and occupying several financial roles since, Antoine has a valuable understanding of how the Group operates from a financial perspective.
Prior to joining C.A.T., he occupied various consultancy roles including advising H.E. the Minister of Health, Economy and Telecommunications in Lebanon.
Antoine holds an MBA in Business Administration from Saint Joseph University in Lebanon, a PhD in Business Administration from the Sorbonne in France and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also occupies the position of Professor of Finance at Saint Joseph University.
