Scope: EPC project for design, procurement, and construction of 2 No. of 56″ gas Pipelines: SRG-2 (56 KM) and UBTG-1 (57 KM) with all associated facilities. Construction of 19 Vessels for Black powder filtration systems in 8 Locations with all civil, structural, and piping works. Upgrade the existing PCV and Metering stations in 11 Locations, including power, Control, and communications systems.
Unique Challenge: Works locations were scattered over a big geographical area, and long distances were to be traveled to supply construction and support materials. New techniques were used for the 1st time in ARAMCO Projects (Black Powder filters)
Client Satisfaction / Awards: The project was very successful and many performance awards were received.
C.A.T. Business Goals: Demonstrate the Capability of the Introduction of new techniques in Oil & Gas Industry.
Sustainability: The client was very satisfied with the results and performance of the Black powder filtration in the Master Gas network. C.A.T staff has obtained very good experience that put them on one or more higher levels of performance.
